RBI LEAGUE PROGRAMS

Richfield has continued to be a strong sports focused community for our youth.  Opportunities are available for children to begin playing in community sports leagues as early as five years of age in Little League.

Our programs offer boys and girls the ability to learn the fundamentals of playing ball in our Little League divisions from the time they are very young.

There is ball after little league!  Most of our players advance on to the Pony League and then further to the Babe Ruth and into High School programs.

We are honored that by our youth having the experience to learn baseball fundamentals in our organization, it would help them enjoy many years of fun and sportsmanship through their lives!

Below, you will find the variety of programs we offer for the youth of Richfield!

Traveling League

Enjoy the challenge of playing teams outside of Richfield.  RBI organizes traveling teams that compete in weekend tournaments outside of the house league.  Each traveling team has 10 to 12 players selected by a combination of coaches, league officials, and independent evaluators.  To be considered for a traveling team, an RBI house league player must attend a special try-out for determining travel team rosters as well as reside or attend school in Richfield.  Try-outs will be held prior to the RBI season.  Specific dates will be announced on the RBI website and literature.  All players will be given an opportunity to play in each game, but length of play and positions will be determined by the coaches.  Additional expenses for travel, lodging, and related costs can be expected during the season.

Complete uniforms will be provided.
